MARK THIELMAN
Mark Thielman is a criminal magistrate working in Tarrant County, Texas (Fort Worth). Formerly, he spent 27 years as a prosecutor for the Tarrant and Dallas County District Attorney’s Offices. During his time as an assistant district attorney, Mark oversaw the Child Abuse Division, served as chief prosecutor in felony courts and worked as a supervisor in the Misdemeanor Division. He has written and spoken at prosecutor trainings.
Mark has a law degree from the University of Texas in Austin as well as a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Liberal Arts degrees from Texas Christian University. Mark’s published short fiction includes a Black Orchid Award-winning novella.
